Graduated as Industrial Design MA from University of Art and Design Helsinki, 1995.
He has been teaching courses of product design, design research and design management at the Estonian Academy of Arts since 1996. Besides teaching he can be considered an initiator of design policy and culture in Estonia. He is a chairman of board of the Estonian Design Center.
As a practicing designer he has worked with Estonian and international companies of consulting design management processes and has conducted development projects ranging from furniture to medical equipment. Lot of his work has been acknowledged with Estonian and international design awards.
Professor Renno Veinthal PhD,
Tallinn University of Technology
Renno Veinthal graduated from the Tallinn University of Technology (TUT) in 1999 with the diploma of mechanical engineering. Defended his PhD thesis at TUT in 2005 on wear problems of multiphase tribomaterials. He has taught Engineering Materials, Composite Materials, Selection of Materials and Processes; Materials Characterization Methods. He has a wide experience on mechanical testing of materials. The main research interests are related to wear resistant materials and coatings, different wear processes and test methods for materials characterization. He is currently involved in the work of several committees and advisory boards at the University end elsewhere. He has successfully initiated several research projects in cooperation with international partners (Tampere Wear Center, Austrian Competence Center for Tribology etc).
Gerth Kivima, MSc

Working as an assistant in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. Oriented to practical lessons in subjects like Engineering Methodology and Hydraulic-Pneumatic Drives.
Sven Sõrmus, MA
Design Projects Leader, EAA
Graduated as a Designer from the Estonian Academy of Arts in 1992.
He has been teaching courses of product design and environmental design at the Estonian Academy of Arts since 1997.
Sven is a partner in multidisciplinary design office ISEASI. He has led an active design practitioner’s career including a long and succesful collaboration with a bath manufacturer Aquator.
